Matric

B.Eng Industrial Engineering (Essential) or B-Tech with a Master

Computer Skills:

• MS Office Applications (Advanced Excel)
• MS Visio,
• MS Project,
• Intermediate AutoCAD

Job-related Requirements:

• People management skills including leadership, performance management, people motivation andpeople development (minimum 5 years’ experience);
• Ability to coordinate several tasks and multiple team members successfully in order to meet deadlines/projects
• Communication & conflict management skills to successfully deal with all levels, age groups and cultures of people – both internal and Ability to manage people in a unionized environment successfully (5years);
• Commercial & financial: Financial acumen and experience in adherence to budget
• Problem solving skills identify potential problems and put the necessary in place to resolve the Important to be pro-active not re-active
• Minimum 5 years experience in an Logistics industry;
• Senior Industrial Engineering Experience in logistics environment: >5 years;
• 7+ year/s experience in execution of CIP (Continuous Improvement Processes);
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours and travel when required
• Detail oriented;
• High work rate and quality of work
• Own vehicle & valid license
• Ability to work under pressure & adapt to change
• Above average EQ
• Ability to travel for short periods in South Africa
