Administrative Specialist, Rates Engineer, Air & Sea – (Ref 68350)

Main Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of the role will be ensuring that all rates are captured and activated on Cargo Wise with a particular focus on auto rating.

Job Related Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years Logistics Industry experience specifically with regards to Pricing Must be knowledgeable in Cargo Wise

Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Have good numeric skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage rates loading process.

Analysis weekly and monthly reports on Auto Rating.

Co-ordination of expired and annual rate increase process with Sales/Servicing. Drive rate reliance nationally.

Manage the rates Engineers and Auto rating process on a national level. Ensure all Tariff rates are available nationally.

Distribute pricing models to all stakeholders.

Ensure estimates have all necessary pricing available.

Ensure correct pricing models are applied by estimates teams & rate engineers. Gather feedback from the branches relating to pricing models.

Management of Auto rating on Cargo Wise system. Must work well in a team.

Must show maturity level to work on his/her own with minimum supervision. Must show initiative and be motivated.

Work well under pressure and to a deadline. Pay meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to implement corrective action.
