Responsibilities and duties:

  Building a referral base through customers reached

  Reach out to customer leads shared

  Calling on the existing customer base and maintaining relationships with retailers

  Driving the growth of the Company through prospecting

  Identify new business opportunities through understanding market trends

  Driving, monitoring and tracking the status of orders

  Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking

  Engage customers to understand their needs and guide them in their choice

  Provide appropriate solutions through products and services

  Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

  Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify upsell opportunities

  Goal-driven and clear understanding of their goals

  Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers

  Liaise with Department Manager and Merchandisers on products that are preferred by

customers

Requirements

  Matric

  At least 5 years FMCG / Retail sales experience

  Must have worked with Checkers / Spar and Pick n Pay

  Had to be in sales in the last 5 years

  Passion to serve

  Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

  A track record of success in sales, with a proven ability to hit targets

  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  Problem solving skills
