Industrial Relations Officer – East Rand ( Ref 628)

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a skilled Industrial Relations (IR) Officer to join our team in the electrical industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum qualification of a diploma and 2 to 3 years of experience in handling disciplinary matters, including hearings and arbitration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct disciplinary hearings and manage related processes
• Handle grievances and workplace disputes
• Provide advice and support on IR matters to management and staff
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Liaise with external parties, including unions and legal representatives

Requirements:

• Diploma in Industrial Relations or a related field
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in disciplinaries, including arbitration
• Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the electrical industry is advantageous

Location Preference:

Candidates residing in the East Rand area are preferred.

Salary: R 30,000 per month depending on experience
