Qualifications and Skills:

• Tertiary qualification is an advantage.
• Intermediate computer literacy with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM system is beneficial.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a freight forwarding or commercial environment.
• Ability to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management.
• Good presentation skills.
• Well-groomed and professional appearance.

Main Purpose of the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for securing new business opportunities that align with THE COMPANY’s preferred client profile and achieving the gross profit targets outlined in the sales contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Oversee opportunities, accounts, and productivity using the prescribed CRM system (Dynamics).
• Maintain an effective diary and build strategic relationships at multiple levels within the client base.
• Focus on consultative selling to strengthen THE COMPANY’s position from a supply chain perspective.
• Identify and pursue cross-silo opportunities.

Salary: R 55 000 – R 62 000, based on experience.
