Key Result Areas

• Implement, monitor and control QMS system (ISO 9001) + FSMS (BRC A & B)
• Supplier and product compliance management

• 3-4 years experience in a similar role

Managing staff in the Quality Assurance Department

Knowledge:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Bilingual – English & Afrikaans (German would be advantageous)
• Bachelor’s degree with experience in the field
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in the field of Chemistry, Food Technology, Quality or Biotechnology
• ISO + GFSI Knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of quality requirements in pharmaceutical/cosmetics environment
• Sound administration skills
• Business acumen / value-added thinking
• Relevant Bakery experience essential

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-4 years working experience in similar position
• Previous ISO9001 experience
• Previous BRCGS/HACCP/ISO2000/FSSC2200 experience
• Previous Internal / Auditing experience would be advantageous

Technical Skills:

• Computer literate and familiar with standard MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to analyse data and create and review processes and develop solutions
• Auditing skills
• Investigative orientation(probing / information seeking)
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Own transport essential
