Quality Control Manager (Montague Gardens) -Cape Town (Ref 7119)

Quality Control Manager position in 5 key job requirements:

1. Educational & Experience Requirements

   • Matric (essential)

   • 2–4 years of experience in a quality control role within a food manufacturing environment

   • Tertiary qualification is advantageous

2. Technical & Analytical Skills

   • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

   • Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret quality data and performance metrics

   • Conduct product and raw material testing

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

   • Develop, implement, and monitor quality procedures, standards, and specifications

   • Ensure compliance with national and international production standards

   • Approve compliant products and reject defective ones

4. Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement

   • Identify ways to reduce waste and optimise resources

   • Recommend improvements to current quality processes and procedures

   • Review and update product specifications for improvement

5. Team Leadership & Communication

   • Supervise quality staff (technicians, inspectors, etc.)

   • Collaborate with suppliers and the National QC Manager

   • Report to upper management on quality performance and activities

Salary offered : R 12k-R14k
