Assistant Warehouse Manager – FMCG – Randburg (Ref 7121)

Our client in FMCG Industry has an opportunity for an Assistant Warehouse Manager

(Must reside within 30 km of Randburg – Not negotiable)

1. FMCG Warehouse Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or assistant management role within an FMCG warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of fast-paced, high-volume inventory flow and distribution cycles.

🔑 2. Inventory and Stock Control Skills

• Proven ability to manage stock levels, conduct cycle counts, prevent shrinkage, and ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance.
• Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP platforms like SAP, Syspro, or Oracle.

🔑 3. Team Leadership & Labour Management

• Experience in managing and motivating warehouse teams, including pickers, packers, and forklift operators.
• Knowledge of labour planning, shift rosters, and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

🔑 4. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

• Hands-on experience with inbound and outbound logistics, routing, and dispatch.
• Ability to coordinate with transporters, ensure on-time deliveries, and reduce turnaround times.

🔑 5. Compliance, Safety & Quality Control

• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, or other FMCG-related food safety standards.
• Ability to enforce OHSA regulations, maintain warehouse hygiene, and manage audits/inspections.

Salary offered : R20k – R25k
