Store Manager – Pretoria – Reference 8505

Drivio is a TETA-accredited driving academy offering learner and driving licence training through retail campuses at Wits, UJ and Hatfield. The Store Manager is responsible for running the Hatfield store as a profitable, well-run and client-focused store.

Key Responsibilities

• Open, close and manage the store daily, including housekeeping, cleanliness and adherence to the Drivio Operations Manual.
• Generate retail sales from walk-in, telephone and online enquiries; prepare quotes, accept payments and issue tax invoices.
• Follow up on leads and quotes, and run promotions as directed by Head Office.
• Schedule client lessons and book learner and driving licence tests so that clients are tested weekly.
• Open and maintain client files, ensuring terms and conditions are signed and clients are paid up before services are delivered.
• Manage client refunds in line with company policy.
• Manage store expenses and petty cash to achieve the required gross profit margin.
• Supervise instructors and store staff: punctuality, conduct, productivity and scheduling.
• Capture instructor hours and submit payroll information and dashboards by the monthly deadline.
• Oversee fleet: pre-trip inspections, vehicle cleanliness, repairs and maintenance, and fuel and toll expenses.
• Support local marketing and promote the store; monitor and respond to online reviews.
• Report daily on sales, expenses and pass rate, and submit monthly store dashboards.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Qualification in Business Management or Marketing.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Clear criminal record

Remuneration

R15,000 – R20,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
