CLAIMS ASSESSOR
A well-established and growing organisation in the financial services and insurance sector is seeking an experienced Claims Assessor to join its professional claims team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and validate supporting documentation received.
- Conduct compliance and regulatory checks.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to obtain claim confirmations and supporting information.
- Maintain accurate records and update claim information on internal systems.
- Prepare claim correspondence and communicate outcomes to clients.
- Ensure claims are processed within prescribed turnaround times and insurer guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE5 qualification (essential).
- Relevant Insurance or Wealth Management qualification.
- 2–5 years claims assessment or claims handling experience.
- Knowledge of insurance legislation and compliance.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Personal Accident experience advantageous.
- Dissability experience advantageous.
