Our client , is the exclusive developer of the well known  brand in South Africa. Since opening its first store  in 2015, they have expanded significantly, operating approximately 80 stores across Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape, with over 500 retail access points nationwide.

  • Job Level: SeniorPosition SummaryAs a Brand/Marketing Manager, you will lead and direct our clients South Africa’s marketing strategy and execution. This role encompasses oversight of marketing, graphic and content design, social media, public relations, e-commerce, and events. You will be the custodian of the annual marketing calendar, budget management, and innovation pipelines to drive business growth, while fostering relationships with brand agencies, vendors, CSI partners, and the franchisor.

    This role requires a visionary leader who leverages consumer insights, analyzes market trends, and ensures seamless collaboration across teams to maintain the Company’s iconic brand presence.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop, manage, and execute the annual marketing calendar for all business streams: DFD, retail, delivery, and celebrations.
  • Drive brand vision, positioning, and growth strategies through marketing innovation and execution.
  • Lead the formulation and management of the marketing budget. Brand Management:
  • Serve as the custodian of the Company’s brand, ensuring alignment with corporate identity and values.
  • Oversee the development and execution of multi-channel campaigns, including digital, print, and out-of-home platforms.
  • Conceptualize creative briefs and guide the design team to deliver impactful communications.Consumer Insights & Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, brand awareness, and competitive insights.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics such as market share, brand health, and commercialperformance, making data-driven recommendations. Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Build strong relationships with CSI partners (e.g., Reach for a Dream Foundation) and develop impactful initiatives.
  • Inspire and align leadership teams around marketing programs and innovations through regular cycle planning and workshops.
  • Partner with internal teams (operations, finance, and supply chain) to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Be able to operate at the lowest level of detail. Campaign Development & Partnerships:
  • Execute and manage lead generation campaigns, measuring and optimizing results.
  • Grow and maintain aggregator relationships for delivery platforms.
  • Collaborate with key brands for promotional activities and co-branded campaigns.Event Management:
  • Plan and execute all store openings, including regional expansions and promotional events.
  • Drive guest loyalty and CRM initiatives to strengthen customer relationships and brand love. Public Relations & Communications:
  • Work closely with PR to align communication priorities with brand strategies.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels, including campaigns, website, and appcontent.

Innovation & Packaging:

Oversee all brand packaging updates and merchandising enhancements to align with brand priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (essential).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the beverage,CPG, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven experience in brand, category, or shopper management.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and digital tools.
