Warehouse Manager – FMCG – Gauteng (Ref 10050)

About the Opportunity

A well-established FMCG company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the efficient management of warehouse operations. The successful candidate will oversee all inbound and outbound activities, finished goods warehousing, raw material receiving and issuing, inventory control, and staff management while ensuring operational excellence and accuracy.

This role is ideally suited to a strong leader with a proven track record in FMCG warehousing, distribution, or wholesale environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
• Manage receiving, issuing, and storage of raw materials.
• Control finished goods warehousing and dispatch activities.
• Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management.
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and compliance.
• Monitor warehouse performance and implement process improvements.
• Ensure accurate administration, reporting, and record keeping.
• Coordinate effectively with internal departments and suppliers.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
• 3 to 5 years’ warehousing experience within an FMCG environment.
• Previous experience within a distribution and/or wholesale environment is essential.
• Experience managing:
  • Inbound warehouse operations
  • Outbound warehouse operations
  • Finished goods warehousing
  • Raw materials receiving, issuing, and storage
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Valid experience managing warehouse teams and operations.
• Must reside in Westland or within a 25km radius.
